La Ribaute is the unique former studio-estate by artist Anselm Kiefer, where HANGARMUSIK became the first orchestra ever to perform. We were lucky enough to spend several days rehearsing amongst Anselm Kiefer's art, which left a deep impression on the HANGARMUSIK musicians. At the end of the trip, one participant said: "Normally I'm not particularly interested in fine art, but I was totally fascinated by Anselm Kiefer's paintings and works and felt drawn into the artworks in an indescribable way".
