Conductor Catherine Larsen-Maguire introduced us to the art of conducting. Together with her, we explored fundamental questions: how does conducting work? And why is it so important for an orchestra?
In an open yet focussed atmosphere, each participant  was allowed to step up and experience  the conductor's podium themselves. Under Catherine's precise guidance, it immediately revealed how much a single impulse can achieve - musically, emotionally and in terms of ensemble playing.

The workshop was very inspiring and provided us with a direct insight into the art of conducting, taught by an artist who knows how to inspire both professionals and young musicians.
