From 22 to 26 October 2018, we had the pleasure of hosting the "Orkestre Takajouer" from Montbéliard as our guests, and to play alongside them. The Takajouer Orchestra is part of the DEMOS project led by the  Philharmonie de Paris.

In addition to the musical rehearsals, we went on various excursions together.
At the Berlin State Library, we viewed the original manuscript of Ludwig van Beethoven's 9th Symphony. At a dress rehearsal of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, the children learnt about Gustav Mahler's 5th Symphony. And the joint visit to the zoo was also enormous fun.

During that week together, children from Germany, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Libya, France, Algeria and Morocco enthusiastically practised and performed pieces by Ludwig van Beethoven and Gustav Mahler.

The audience took part in the final rehearsal, acting as our choir. Together with the children, they performed the "Ode to Joy" from Beethoven's 9th Symphony.
