At the 60th anniversary celebrations of the Elysée Treaty, HANGARMUSIK was able to represent Germany in the German-French DÉMOS Youth Orchestra which had been founded specifically to mark this occasion. 70 young people from both countries aged between 10 and 17 participated in intensive rehearsals at the “Philharmonie de Paris”.

Under the direction of Anna Sophie Brüning, the concert was hosted and performed at the Panthéon and  broadcast live on Arte, marking the end of this special collaborative undertaking.
