The Orquesta Patrimonial de Chonchi travelled all the way from the south of Chile to Berlin, in order to perform two concerts together with HANGARMUSIK. Thanks to the support of the Camaro Foundation, we performed the joint rehearsals and a concert inside the Camaro Haus.

The programme included repertoire pieces from both orchestras, which were prepared in a short space of time under the musical direction of Leila Weber and José Austudillo V.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Chile, who had previously invited both orchestras to the embassy, also attended the concert in the parish hall of the Jesus Christ Church in Dahlem.

Despite language barriers, wonderful friendships developed between the musicians of both ensembles. After the concerts, they danced, laughed and celebrated together.
